Wire Rope Slings
Liftgear Wire Rope Slings are for the everyday general purpose material handling, crane rigging and overhead lifting applications. Perfect for big construction sites and around the garage for the occasional lift.
The eyes on our wire rope slings are created with a Flemish splice, which is a mechanical splice where the rope cable is separated into two parts, then spliced back in the opposite direction to form the eye. The ends are then secured by mechanically pressing a carbon steel sleeve around the entire area. Flemish splices offer the most efficient use of capacity.
