CM Super Strong Chain Shackles are rated 17% to 50% stronger than carbon shackles of the same size. The dee shape, with straight parallel legs, is made for an in-line pull: joining chain, or connecting one sling to a load. For several slings or an angled pull, use an anchor (bow) shackle.
